Here is my edited version of Hit me baby one more time, shot by shot... it was the first 1 minute of the sequence.


I found this task a little bit harder then the Dizzee Rascal, mainly because there was not whole sequences of the music, if they where the whole song and we didn't have to do it shot by shot it would of made this task a whole lot easyer, but because we did it shot by shot there was alot of footage before and after toedit and delete, but it wasn't impossible, just the lip syncing was slightly hard, because you had to match up more then just 3 differen't sequences like with Dizzee Rascal.

Long road student videos

I looked at a few old student videos from last year, here is one that i quite liked




I like the start, the way the main singer flashes on and off the screen, this to me shows the importance of him to the band, showing he is the lead singer and main man in this band.

During this video there are alot of very quick cuts between every shot, some are repeated, but there is some movement and hardly any static shots, which makes this effective and not boring. This is maintained throughout.

Hit me baby one more time music video task

This week we were given the task of re-recording hit me baby one more time shot by shot,

The week started with all of us helping storyboard, given 8 shots each and all told to draw them, there where 55 in total,

On the day (Friday) i was given the job of ''Location Scout'', once that was done, i wasn't really needed in the shots, so i wasn't given anything to do, my afternoon was spent sitting round doing nothing.
